  1. Gotta share my 2011 World Series story 🙂 I am not a baseball fan and the only time I typically watch is during the World Series…sad I know but I do appreciate professional sports. While watching this year, my husband was tweeting back and forth with his brother who is a Cards fan and lives in IL. It was cool sharing in his enthusiasm for his team. In that crucial inning when Freese was at bat, I turned to my husband and said, “Oh no, it’s on this young, Sean Penn looking dude…who is he?” Of course my husband didn’t know either but we watched and learned his name well for the remainder of the Series. I’m glad I was able to watch the Series, am happy for St Louis fans, and wish Texas better luck next year! If you see me out-and-about sporting a St Louis Cards’ baseball shirt, I’m not a wanna-be fan hanging on the shirttails of world champs, I just like the pretty birds 🙂

    • That’s pretty neat! It was a great world series – one that will be remembered for game 6 forever.
