Drunker Than Ever

If you’ve watched the news or read a newspaper lately, you’ve probably seen the shenanigans going on in Washington, D.C.

If this was a comedy on television, it would be a blockbuster in the ratings because it is so hilarious.  Many of their press conferences sound just like what an adult would hear at a daycare center

Sadly both parties are leaderless.  The good thing is that Senators are in Washington doing the late-night votes, but on the other hand that keeps them away from their constituents, although here in Montana you must be invited to be able to speak to our Senators.

Speaking of senators, you may remember that in June 2006, U.S. Senate candidate Jon Tester said of his opponent: “You continue to spend money like a drunken sailor back there in Washington, D.C.”

Here we are just over three years later and Tester and his party (the one that controls the House, the Senate, and the White House) has made those so-called “drunken sailors” of 2006 look like choir boys.

By the way, back in June 2006 the unemployment rate was sitting at 4.6%.  Now it’s 10%.  Didn’t they promise more jobs if they passed the stimulus bill?

And to top it off, the Democrats have taken a bad situation caused by the Republicans and doubled or tripled the spending.  They have bankrupted the USA.

But don’t worry, the House just raised the debt limit.  The Senate will undoubtedly follow the House.  Don’t you wish you could do that at your house or business?

The current leadership can’t be counted on to get us out of this mess.  They have made it worse in just a few short years.
