The calendar says it’s May, so I was just wondering what happened to the ethics audit that was being done for the office of Senator Jon Tester.
It was supposed to be completed around April 15. It’s now May 5. As my readers may remember, after putting off the audit for several months, Tester decided to have a retired 90 year old judge, and former democratic legislator (a party insider) conduct his audit.
The press folks in Montana loved it and bought off on it as something really special, like they did the posting of his schedule.
So now we are waiting (again) to hear something about the promised yearly audit. It’s too bad an independent audit free from politics was not completed. That would have really been a first.

Jack,>You didn’t actually think he’d follow through and do it, did you? Liberals get credit for just saying they are going to do something. Doesn’t matter if they actually end up doing it. Sometimes it’s just too hard to actually follow through and do what you promised.
