The Denver Post is reporting that a region in Russia wants more people so they gave everyone a day off to procreate. September 12 is the big day.

If a child is born on June 12 (Russia’s National Day) the proud parents can win prizes, like cars, money, refrigerators, video cameras, TVs as well as washers and dryers.

Finally, a great idea from a politician. It sure beats taking the day off to mow the yard or do some housework.

What a country!!!
