"Sit" "Down Girl" "Bad Girl"

Maybe some (human) obedience training is needed? Read on…

Apparently, the Great Falls City Commission has a rule in place that sets a time limit on how long a person can speak during their commission meetings. It is three minutes.

Don’t even go over three minutes.

In the June 20, 2007, on-line edition of the Great Falls Tribune, there’s this STORY.

Recently, a lady who conducts obedience training for dogs supposedly punched a police officer and was charged with misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct after she violated the three minute rule. It appears she was very unhappy about an issue with the Humane Society in Great Falls. Very unhappy.

Maybe if the Mayor would have issued the command, “Sit” or “Down Girl” or threatened to place a choke collar on her, the obedience trainer would have, lets just say, been more obedient. The Mayor could also keep some “treats” on hand so she could reward people who “obey” the three minute rule. I suggest Hershey’s Kisses.

In extreme circumstances, like this one, there’s always the shock collar…
