On Monday, U.S. House candidates Ryan Zinke and John Lewis sent press releases about veterans and military issues, and current U.S. Senator Jon Tester announced that he was holding a veterans listening session in Great Falls.
Any day you can get candidates and elected officials to talk about veterans’ issues is a good day. It’s not even Veterans Day or Memorial Day! There are over 106,000 veterans in Montana, and we vote.
It’s important for candidates to talk about veterans’ issues, and let us know what they will do if elected and what they are doing for us if they currently hold elective office.
