“Lost” a friend

I have watched every “Lost” episode since 2004 when Oceanic Flight 815 crashed onto a mysterious island. Last night, along with an estimated 13.5 million other viewers, I watched the final episode and I had tears in my eyes as the final minutes ticked by. My floodgates came open when Vincent (the dog) lay down by Jack as he (supposedly) died.

There were several other places where I almost lost it, but the dog did me in.

Dang it.

I like the way it ended. As with most of the episodes, the ending of the series left me to ponder several scenarios of what happened next. Heck, there were many times that I wondered what was happening now!

Did they all die? I think so. Did they all go on to a better life? As they sat in the Church, did they end up following Jack’s dad (his name is Christian Shepherd) into the light and into Heaven? Continue reading
