U.S. Senate: Schedule Vote to Repeal Obamacare

Every once in a while it is time to start over with a fresh slate. The U.S. House of Representatives voted last week to start over by repealing the healthcare bill (or Obamacare as it is called).

This week would be a great time for the United States Senate to “start over” and schedule a vote to repeal the healthcare bill. Montana’s senior Senator, Max Baucus, should be leading the charge, and Jon Tester should be following him.

Sadly, Baucus has been quoted defiantly saying, “It won’t be repealed. No way.” Readers may remember that Baucus was one of the leaders of healthcare reform and then he publicly admitted he had not even read the final product. It was a YouTube moment for Baucus.

With a U.S. Senate and White House controlled by the Democrats and the U.S. House being controlled by the Republicans, the American people stand to get a much better product from Congress this time around.
