The anticipation is not building as much as when we were waiting for former Democratic Governor Brian Schweitzer to announce his intention to run for U.S. Senate or not. The Montana Republicans probably won’t be as disappointed on Wednesday as the Montana Democrats were when Schweitzer declined to run.
So what’s the announcement? The Associated Press is reporting that this Wednesday during a “Special Event” in Bozeman, Republican Representative Steve Daines (MT-AL) will announce, “whether he will run for the U.S. Senate.”
Daines has been a member of the U.S. House for a little over 10 months.
