PVT. LEONARD R. J. JACKSON:
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced that U.S. Army Pvt. Leonard R. J. Jackson, 22, of Great Falls, Montana, who was captured and died as a prisoner of war during World War II, was accounted for Dec. 16, 2024.
Jackson will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery on a date to be determined.
God bless Pvt. Jackson and his family. Thank you.
MONTANA DEMOCRATS IN DISARRAY:
Not only are the Montana Republicans having fights within their party, according to a report from Lee Enterprises, the Montana Democrats are having a few fights, too.
The following headline tells the story:
Montana Democrats in Disarray; Leaked memo details infighting over party unity, strategy
That headline has to make the MAGAs happy. They bitch and gripe about the “legacy media” not treating them well and being nicer to Democrats.
Lee Enterprises reports:
“…an unsigned memo began to circulate that accused some Democrats of blind bipartisanship that derailed a number of those priorities. The discovery that the House Democrats’ chief of staff penned the memo and that (House Minority Leader Katie) Sullivan knew about it sent quiet shockwaves through the caucus of Montana Democrats and laid bare a rift that had been simmering for months.”
Basically, it’s the same old same old. Some of the Democrats are mad that members of their party worked with Republicans. That’s the same complaint that Republicans had with some of their members.
I like bipartisanship. I like to see the Republicans and Democrats compromise. Being in the majority does have certain perks, but it does not always mean they can shove their agenda down their throats of the minority.
I am no longer a Republican, and I am not a Democrat. I consider myself a moderate Independent. I could never be elected in Montana because they make it difficult for people who are not Republican or Democrat to run for office.
So now it looks like we have RINOs (Republican In Name Only) and DINOs (Democrat in name only) running wild in our great state!
That makes me smile.
KAMALA HARRIS:
Former Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, announced that she would not be running for Governor of California in this election.
In her statement, Harris said:
I look forward to getting back out and listening to the American people, helping elect Democrats across the nation who will fight fearlessly, and sharing more details in the months ahead about my own plans.
I look forward to seeing what Harris does in the future.
FOOTBALL IS BACK:
Is this a great country or what? The LA Chargers play the Detroit Lions in the Hall of Fame game tonight. The game begins at 6:00 p.m. here in Montana and will be televised on NBC.
The other preseason games start on August 7.
ONE MORE THING:
Deep thought…
The word “queue” is ironic. It’s just a Q with a bunch of silent letters waiting in line…
