Greetings! Here are the topics for today’s common-sense commentary:
- Tester & MSNBC
- Trans Care Ban Unconstitutional
- Pete Rose
- NFL Schedule Release
TESTER & MSNBC:
In case you missed it, former U.S. Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) has joined MSNBC as a Political Analyst. (Source)
It was fun to watch the MAGA nuts in Montana lose their minds over Tester’s new job. Even the Montana Republican Party took time out of their busy schedule attacking RINOs to post the following on social media:
The Republican Party of Montana would like to thank Jon Tester for finally being honest about being a partisan hack.
All along the dirt farmer shtick was a lie.
He will be a great fit at MSNBC.
The MAGA’s radio guy, Aaron Flint, joined in on the fun:
Flip flop flat top runs to the far Left media. Now hired by MS-13NBC
The Republicans in Montana are letting loose after Tester owned them for 18 years. I guess they deserve to boast about their victory over him, even though some comments were petty and juvenile.
On the other hand, Tester has the experience to be an asset to MSNBC, which needs some serious help.
TRANS CARE BAN UNCONSTITUTIONAL:
The Montana Free Press (MTFP) reports that State District Court Judge Jason Marks in Missoula on Tuesday ruled that a 2023 state law banning many gender transition-related medical services for transgender minors is unconstitutional, prohibiting its enforcement. The 59-page ruling from Marks found that Senate Bill 99, backed by Republicans largely along party lines during the legislative session two years ago, violates the Montana Constitution’s rights to privacy, equal protection, and free speech.
This is the correct decision. I’m sure it will be appealed to the Montana Supreme Court, where it should be found unconstitutional.
PETE ROSE:
Over the years, through this blog, I have said over and over that Pete Rose should be in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Rose died in 2024.
Now, Rose may have a chance.
Major League Baseball removed Pete Rose and 16 other deceased individuals from the permanently ineligible list on Tuesday, Commissioner Rob Manfred announced. (Source)
I don’t know if Rose will make it to the HOF, but I think he should. Sure, he bet on his sport and his team, and he finally admitted it. He came clean.
NFL SCHEDULE RELEASE:
Don’t forget about the NFL schedule release tonight (Wednesday). (Source)
It will be interesting to see how many different streaming services fans will need to subscribe to, so they can watch all the games. It’s getting ridiculous and costly.
## END ##

The Republican Party of Montana, for which no poltician left of Mussolini is pure enough, is honchoed by the likes of Lola Sheldon-Galloway, and issues press releases that read like they were written by the most rabid partisan writer at Newsmax has the gall to diss anyone ELSE as “a partisan hack”? It is to laugh. Look in the mirror for the real hacks, kids.
