SHEEHY HAS ANOTHER BAD DAY:
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Tim Sheehy had another bad day Tuesday.
First, NBC News reported that Senate candidate Tim Sheehy’s firm promised jobs and more to a Montana county. It’s still waiting. After it persuaded Gallatin County officials to issue $160 million in bonds so Sheehy’s company could expand locally, the firm used most of the money to pay off previous investors.
Raw Story reported the following:
Bridger has been bleeding money for years as it struggles to stay above water. Since the $160 million bond issue was granted in 2022, the company has lost roughly $150 million. That includes more than $20 million in the first quarter of 2024 alone, and $77.4 million of losses in 2023. NBC reported that Bridger’s stock price is at a paltry $3.60 per share, which is a 64% decline from when it launched its initial public offering in 2023.
I’m not a business major, but I don’t think Bridger is the success story as Sheehy and his supporters claim.
Of course, NBC News reported that Sheehy, who stepped down as CEO of Bridger in July, declined to be interviewed for this article, and his press secretary didn’t respond to detailed questions. Read more about this issue HERE and HERE.
Then, Native News Online reported:
Already in trouble with Montana tribes for his disparaging and racist comments about Native Americans, Montana GOP senatorial candidate Tim Sheehy was caught on tape during a campaign stop in August erasing the tribal influence in the state prior to European contact.
In a clip obtained by Native News Online, Sheehy told his campaign audience: “In a very short period of time, we went from being a backwater, vacant land of not a whole lot going on, and we came here and turned this into an amazing nation with the strongest economy that saved the world time and time again.”

Finally, the Daily Montanan reported military veterans on Tuesday said people should not trust Republican U.S. Senate candidate Tim Sheehy with their vote because he has shown himself to be an “egregious” and “serial” liar. They also said telling a falsehood about being wounded on the battlefield is particularly troubling.
You can read more about this press conference HERE.
An article in Prospect.org had this interesting observation: “But somehow, Montana Republicans found a candidate who has racked up more scandals in fewer days on the campaign trail than anyone in recent memory.”
U.S. Senator Steve Daines and his minions, who recruited Sheehy, are to blame for picking a lemon. Even if Sheehy survives all these scandals and wins, the scrutiny will continue. The issue with the bonds in Gallatin County is very troubling and could end up in court.
AP DECISION NOTES:
The Associated Press (AP) posted an article about what to expect in Montana on election day.
The AP reports when Montana voters cast ballots in the Nov. 5 general election, they’ll decide what may just be the nation’s marquee U.S. Senate race, and with it, perhaps which party will control the closely divided chamber in the next Congress. They’ll also vote on a high-profile ballot question on abortion, as well as less competitive races for president and governor.
One thing you can count on is that The Western Word will be covering the local, state, and national election results and posting pertinent information on Twitter at @TheWesternWord.
RUDY, RUDY, RUDY:
According to NBC and other sources, a federal judge in New York has ordered former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani to turn over his luxury Manhattan apartment and many of his valuables to the two Georgia election workers he defamed.
NBC News also reported that U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman ordered Giuliani, a longtime ally of and former lawyer for former President Donald Trump, to transfer personal property “including cash accounts, jewelry and valuables, a legal claim for unpaid attorneys’ fees, and his interest in his Madison Avenue co-op apartment to a receivership” within seven days.
I once had a lot of respect for Giuliani. Then he hitched his wagon to Donald Trump. People who support Trump and run for office will never get my vote or respect.

## THE END ##

On the bright side for Bridger Aerospace, if Sheehy does win they will be miraculously blessed with many many more fat and profitable gummint contracts.
If he’s elected, the DC press will tear him to shreds. -JmB
It was 18 federal INVESTIGATIONS not indictments. FYI.
If he’s elected he would spend his first term simply saying standing at attention and answering “yassuh!” to McConnell (?), and the rest of his time across the street on the phones trying to drum up contributions. He wouldn’t ever be in front of the DC press because he would be an inexperienced, clueless, meaningless and totally non-influential 1st termer from a backwater state.
I somehow missed this article the first time around, but it’s very relevant to the other things discussed about Shady’s character or lack there of. He’s a guy that most Montanans would never do business with, and thus he shouldn’t be sent to the senate. He’s got some “issues.” Please read and share. And remember that Tester is as honest as the day is long!
From the article:
“If he did what he’s accused of doing here at a university, he’d fail,” Pope said, referring to Sheehy.
In Sheehy’s “Mudslingers” case, it seems clear to Pope.
“One section? Maybe,” Pope said. “Four? That’s a pattern.”
“But plagiarism is lying. It’s just an untrustworthy behavior. And, we generally don’t trust liars.”
“Plagiarism is no different than lying to the public. It’s the same thing,” Pope said. “It’s a pattern of dishonesty.”

I saw it last month. The issues just keep popping up for Shady. -JmB
