Greetings! Here are the topics for today’s column:

TESTER & BIDEN:

U.S. Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) released a statement about President Joe Biden’s fitness for another four years after Biden’s poor performance in the debate against former President Donald Trump:

“President Biden has got to prove to the American people—including me—that he’s up to the job for another four years. Meanwhile, I’ll continue to do what I’ve always done: Stand up to President Biden when he’s wrong and protect our Montana way of life,” Tester said.

Tester is running for reelection this year.

I think this is a brilliant move from Tester. He has shown some independence from Biden and told Montanans that he is looking out for Montana first.

STATE CAPITOL TRAFFIC:

I recently read that the Helena City Commission was looking into adding one-way roads around the capitol complex.

According to the Helena IR, the plan would turn parts of 6th East and Lockey avenues that neighbor the capitol building into one-ways, making a clockwise traffic circuit around the campus. Lockey Avenue would travel westbound, while 6th Avenue would flow eastbound.

It was also reported that it would create a protected bike lane along those roads and turn parallel parking spots into angled parking, expanding 6th Avenue, 5th Avenue and Roberts Street parking while reducing North Sanders Street and Lockey Avenue parking.

I’m pretty sure since the Republicans control the legislature and the governor’s office, they would want all roads around the capitol to flow to the right.

    Was “protecting Montanans” voting for guys with dicks showering with teenage girls?

    How about the border? Knowing you’re the deciding vote in the senate you could have demanded our border closed.

    Same with the XL Pipeline.

    Same with the Laken Riley Act.

      • WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville joined “National Report” on Newsmax to discuss how he recently forced a vote on an amendment that would protect female athletes by keeping men out of women’s sports. All 51 Democrats voted to block the amendment from proceeding.

    • Geez, Swede. I’ve known you a long time, buddy. I’ve always admired your rational right wing opinions, man. But it appears that you’ve ingested some bad shrooms! A word of advice. You don’t do yourself any favors by spouting crazy stuff. Stick to the intelligent college educated engineering stuff like you used to. Maga shrooms don’t do anyone favors. Alienating people will not win them to your side.
