PRIDE HAPPY HOUR:

Attention Great Falls –

From the Cascade County Democrats: Come join Cascade County Legislative Democratic candidates for a Pride Happy Hour! They will be hosting the event in Magpie at 202 2nd Ave South on June 25th, 6:30 PM.
Appetizers will be provided and there will be a no-host bar.
Come meet your candidates who are committed to fighting for all members of our community. We will stand in solidarity with our friends and neighbors to show the Great Falls community why Pride matters, and raise our voice against attempts to silence us. Hate and fear have no place in Montana.

U.S. SUPREME COURT:

It looks like we will see a lot of opinions coming from the U.S. Supreme Court this week. Newsweek and other sources are reporting:

In an unexpected move, the U.S. Supreme Court has announced additional opinion days this week, signaling a potential rush to conclude its current term. The nation’s highest court added Thursday and Friday to its schedule, supplementing the previously announced Wednesday session.

There are about two dozen cases awaiting decisions.

TRUMP’S WOUNDS:

Mediate and several other sources are reporting that Donald Trump claimed that if he took his shirt he would have more “wounds” than any other president in the history of the U.S. The former president spoke at the Faith and Freedom Conference on Saturday where he claimed Christians needs to come out and vote for him in November in order to “defend religious liberty” from Communists, Marxist, and Fascists.

Then Trump said this:

And I have the wounds all over my body. If I took this shirt off, you’d see a beautiful, beautiful person. But you’d see wounds all over, all over me. I have taken a lot of wounds, I can tell you. More than I suspect any president ever.

When I heard that I thought of Abraham Lincoln getting shot in the head and John F. Kennedy getting shot in the head. I believe that “trumps” Trump’s wounds.

I am a Christian and I WILL NOT be voting for Donald Trump. I encourage other Christians to follow my lead.

CBS NEWS POLL – ABORTION:

Two years after the Dobbs decision, most Americans continue to favor abortion being legal in all or most cases 60% to 40%.

Check out the full report from CBS News HERE.

GALLUP – SAME-SEX RELATIONS, MARRIAGE:

Gallup Polling reports that more than two in three Americans continue to believe that marriage between same-sex couples should be legal (69%), and nearly as many say gay or lesbian relations are morally acceptable (64%). Both readings have been consistently above the 50% mark since the early 2010s and above 60% since 2017.

We’ve come a long way but have a long way to go.  There are too many haters in our society. Love your neighbor.
