HERE WE GO AGAIN:
Get ready Great Falls – The Electric reports that Great Falls’s new public safety advisory committee meets for the first time at 6 p.m. on May 1. The meeting includes an overview of the purpose of the committee from City Commissioners Joe McKenney and Shannon Wilson, according to the agenda, as well as selecting a chair and vice chair.
According to The Electric, City Commissioners established the committee during their April 2 meeting. As approved, the committee includes: Sandra Guynn, Mike Parcel, Wendy McKamey, Jeni Dodd, George Nikolakakos, Aaron Weissman, Tony Rosales, Thad Reiste, Joe McKenney and Shannon Wilson.
As you may remember, the public safety levy and bond failed miserably in November 2023. I was proud to vote against both the levy and bond. The city commission voted to use up to $150,000 of taxpayer funds to promote the levy. I think the leaders of the city should hold a bake sale to recoup the money that they wasted before they do anything else.
The citizens of Great Falls are being taxed to death. If that isn’t enough, the city adds on fees that eat away at our paychecks. Yes, we want a safer town, but we just can’t afford it at this time. This committee should vote to drop the issue and revisit it in 5 years.

GREAT FALLS SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION:
I don’t normally write too much about school board elections, but there has been so much crap thrown about during this election season that I want to encourage Great Falls voters to re-elect Marlee Sunchild to the school board.
The election is May 7.
I LOVE YOU:
I received an email from former President Donald Trump with the subject, “I Love You, Jackie.” He goes on to say, “It would be my great honor to be endorsed by YOU, Jackie.”
I did not vote for Trump in 2016, or 2020, and he is not getting my vote in 2024. The people who vote for Trump are all foam and no beer.

The safety committee better hold off. If trump gets elected, Gilead will provide all the safety we need. He can deputize all the MAGAs, and our constistupidist sheriff will once again be the highest authority in the country! (Except of course for ill Douche!). No need for jail space. Concentration camps work better! Or deportation. Ya never know. It just might work! And Lola could be the enforcer of women’s laws. Failure to turn in your menstruation log and you’ll get a visit from Miss Lola in her shiny new Germanic looking uniform and hat! Achtung!
