Thursday Thoughts

Hello Friends – It’s the last day of August! Here are the topics that I am providing commentary about for today’s column:

  • The Rosendale Tease
  • Thank you, Montana GOP
  • Helping Elsie
  • One More Thing

THE ROSENDALE TEASE:

The campaign team for U.S. Representative Matt Rosendale sent an email with the subject:

Big Announcement RE: Montana Senate Race

Of course, I opened it to find the following information: Update: Mitch McConnell and the D.C. Party bosses have hand-picked their candidate to represent Montana.

He basically asked me to join his movement and to send a donation. At the end of the email, he says:

P.S. – By joining this movement, you’ll also be the first to know about OTHER big announcements coming soon to the state of Montana…”

There’s a button that has “Join Now to be the First to Know.”

Nicely done, Team Rosendale. Nicely done.

Rosendale has been rumored to be running for U.S. Senate, which would create a primary that Republicans like Steve Daines do not want. I hope Rosendale does run.

THANK YOU, MONTANA GOP:

The Montana GOP sent an email to let me know that a “Liberal Millionaire Bozeman Trial Lawyer” is going to announce that he is running for Montana Attorney General:

According to a recently obtained email from his campaign, Millionaire Bozeman Trial Lawyer Ben Alke plans to announce he is running for Montana Attorney General during the third week of September.

Great, I did not know this.

The Montana GOP says:

Ben Alke has deep ties to liberal legal establishments. He is a former law clerk for Obama-Appointee Judge Brian Morris who’s most notable judicial rulings include shutting down the Keystone Pipeline and blocking energy development on federal land. Alke also worked for well-known trial lawyer and Democrat mega-donor Jim Goetz. Additionally, Alke has worked with a number for [sic] liberal political organizations including the ACLU.

So now we get to sit back and hear “millionaire” “liberal” and “trial lawyer” for the next year or so. Yawn.

I think it will be hard for anyone to beat current Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen. It’s not that he is doing a great job, but that he is bat-shit crazy and files lawsuit after lawsuit against the Biden administration.

HELPING ELSIE:

With schools across Montana starting I think this would be a great time for parents to tell their students to look for kitty litter boxes in their schools – and even take a photo if they find one.

Recently, Superintendent of Public Instruction, Elsie Arntzen, claimed that there are litter boxes in some Montana schools for students who see themselves as cats and would prefer them to toilets, but when questioned further, never provided proof.

So please help her out!

ONE MORE THING:

In case you missed it, Yahoo News reported that On Monday, Aug. 28, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill went into lockdown as authorities searched for an “armed and dangerous person.” Hours later, the suspect was in custody, and the lockdown order was lifted. Associate professor Zijie Yan was killed after being fatally shot inside a science laboratory. Tailei Qi, a graduate student at the university, was charged with first-degree murder.

The staff of the student newspaper, The Daily Tar Heel, collected text messages sent and received by students during the incident. The messages laid out one after the other in bold black and red text were featured on the front page of the paper.

  1. Elsie vindicated! Took a bit of detective work, but she’s right! Maybe she’s not looney after all!

    • Oh my God! Shocker! Elsie starts her non-campaign with a bold statement quite out of the ordinary for a good submissive MAGA woman. SIZE MATTERS! There may be hope fore her yet!

  2. Considering that every school kid these days seems to own a phone and loves to take pictures, there sure is a howling dearth of actual verified pictures of the alleged litter boxes.

But that’s easy enough to explain: Another liberal conspiracy, this time perpetrated by all the brainwashed school kids, to keep “the truth” hidden from critical thinking wingnuts like Arntzen and her ilk.
