TRUMP INDICTED:
On Thursday, former President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that he had been informed that he was being indicted.
A few hours later it was confirmed that Trump was facing seven federal indictments dealing with the mishandling of classified documents. This is one of the few times Trump has not lied. By the way, this is in addition to Trump being indicted in a New York court (state) on 34 counts dealing with falsifying business records. Other ongoing investigations may lead to further indictments.
The Associated Press (AP) reported that Trump’s lawyer James Trusty said Thursday on CNN that the indictment includes charges of willful retention of national defense information, obstruction of justice, false statements, and conspiracy.
So, what did Trump do after his announcement? The Associated Press (AP) reported that within minutes of his announcement, Trump began fundraising off it for his presidential campaign. He declared his innocence in a video and repeated his familiar refrain that the investigation is a “witch hunt.”
U.S Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) who has already endorsed Trump for President in 2024 posted the following message on Twitter:
The two standards of justice under Biden’s DOJ is appalling. When will Hunter Biden be charged?
That’s a nice try at deflecting, but it will only work on the closed-minded.
U.S. Representative Matt Rosendale (R-MT02) posted the following message on Twitter:
More Trump indictments on the same day Biden bribery scheme is exposed…we shall see if Lady Justice is blind.
I guess Rosendale received the same memo as Daines. Deflect, deflect, deflect!
The bottom line for me is if Trump or his sons, and Biden or his son are guilty of anything, let the chips fall where they may. Readers may remember that the Hunter Biden issue has been around since Trump was President and nothing was done when the Republicans had the power. We’ll hear all types of attacks against Biden, like “Biden’s Justice Department indicts his top competitor,” etc.
Make no mistake, these are serious charges against Trump. He is not fit to be President.

I know it pains the MAGA crowd to see this, but the fact is there have been generations of LGBTQI+ service members who have defended and sacrificed for our country. So, get over it. Open your minds.
U.S. HOUSE ON PAUSE:
Reuters reported that the U.S. House of Representatives will postpone all votes until next week, Speaker Kevin McCarthy said on Wednesday, as a conservative revolt paralyzed the Republican Party’s efforts to advance its agenda in Washington. The standoff between U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and a hardline faction of his own Republican majority has forced the chamber into a holding pattern that looks likely to persist until at least Monday.
Isn’t it great to be in the majority? The Republicans will get things done if given a chance, they said.

155TH BELMONT STAKES:
The 2023 Belmont Stakes is this Saturday. There won’t be a Triple Crown winner this year as Mage won the Kentucky Derby and National Treasure won the Preakness. National Treasure is scheduled to run in the Belmont Stakes. Mage is not running.
The biggest story so far about the Belmont Stakes is the air quality in New York. According to NBC News out of New York, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul warned the race could be called off if the air quality index exceeds 200 on its scale. In the scenario the index hovers between 150 to 200, horses would need to pass an additional pre-race vet examination to be allowed to run.

Different day same old crap from MEGA crowd. Trump couldn’t even tell truth many counts was charged with not 7 but 39. But nothing changes Trump is raising money off the true believers and they will vote for him even in jail. The Trump supporters fall back defense is yes you guessed it,well what about Hillary Clinton because they really have no true defense for Trump not just returning the records. Taflon Don already gotten couple breaks one being venue to Florida and two the judge assigned the case is a Trump appointee Aileen Cannon who held up the classified documents investigation in 2022 for months finally being overturned by 11th Circuit. She is a Trump loyalist which could sink the feds case. Of course the other fall back defense is what about Hunter, my take after 5 years of investigation probably nothing there and he never was president. Well if the GOP leadership was seriously caring about grift , I think Trumps own children would be high on list. This probably puts Trump solidly as GOP nominate for president, since his opponents are so gutless to oppose him. Unfortunately another loyal aide of Trumps Walt Nauta will go to jail even if Trump gets off. I’m already tired of all this drama,which no doubt most of the nation will be as we live this for next year. The downside of all this maybe voters what be so turned off by all this they just don’t care to vote. That could possibly just put Trump back in office because his supporters will turn out to vote for him. I will be watching less and less news and more rerun western that I’ve seen many times already and reading more fantasy to escape this 3 ring circus.
Wonder if Jesse is mobilizing his constitutionalist militia just in case. Ya never know about MAGAs. Jesus could call at any moment! Gotta defend freedumb. And shoot, it would finally give Daines and Rosie a chance to put on a uniform!

Our elected wacky Republican representatives did not mention ” innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable (aye there’s the rub) doubt” or “due process” or evidence presented in open court or jury of our peers. Wake up, Don’t vote for these people. When you wake up you will be embraced with brotherly love as a savior of our state and country, not hatred and division.
