Quote for the day…
The problem with stealing quotes off the internet is you never know if they are genuine. – Abraham Lincoln
In today’s column, I take a quick look at these people/issues:
- Come Home Montana Campaign
- The Western Word Poll
- The History Tour
- Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
- Reading Assignments
- One More Thing
COME HOME MONTANA CAMPAIGN:
Montana Governor Greg Gianforte launched a website as part of the administration’s new campaign to encourage Montanans, who have moved to other states, to come back home to Montana. The campaign and new website, ComeHomeMontana.com, encourage Montanans who have relocated to other states to return to Montana to work remotely, start a business here, or take advantage of job opportunities across the state’s industries. Instead of “Come Home Montana,” I would have picked, “Shane! Shane, come back!” (Source)

THE WESTERN WORD POLL:
Dr. Anthony Fauci is the director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the chief medical advisor to the president. Fauci has been in the news recently after some of his emails were released through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
This week’s poll question asks, “Do you trust Dr. Anthony Fauci?”
Click HERE to participate. The results will be posted Thursday.
THE HISTORY TOUR:
The Hill and other sources are reporting that former President Trump is launching a speaking tour with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly that will aim to “provide a never before heard inside view of his administration.” The series, dubbed “The History Tour,” will feature four live conversations across the country between Trump and O’Reilly in December.
They have a lot in common – both were ousted from their jobs. I would suggest all females stay several feet away from these fellas.

U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) drew some ire from some of my ignorant friends in the 64683 zip code and across the fruited plains for saying something about not building more jails.
Of course, some folks read the one line “not building more jails” and are so prejudiced that they draw conclusions without hearing her whole speech.
She said, “It is not acceptable for us to use jails as garbage bins for human beings. We need to treat people and see them as human.” She added, “The answer is to build more hospitals…we need to get people mental health care, health care, employment, etc.”
We do need more mental health treatment for people. That is a fact. Many people serving time will get out of prison. We need to be sure they can handle the outside and are prepared to be better citizens.
Ironically, some of my friends in the 64683 zip code keep reelecting Sam Graves to Congress. He’s done nothing. He is in his 10th term, and you never hear about his accomplishments because he has none. AOC is in her second term.
