Who is America?
If the people who appeared and said some of the things on the show, “Who is America?” by Sacha Baron Cohen were serious, there are some people in our country who are dumber than a box of rocks.
In the Washington Post, former Congressman David Jolly, put it this way:
Going out on a limb here, but probably safe to say — any elected official who was duped to appear in the new @SachaBaronCohen series #WhoIsAmerica on @Showtime should be permanently disqualified from ever receiving classified information.
The part about arming toddlers that featured Gun Owners of America’s Larry Pratt explaining why it makes sense to let toddlers carry guns made me cringe a few times, but I continued to watch in amazement.
I can’t wait for the next show.
Watch a ten-minute trailer from the first show HERE.
Trump & Putin:
In the past when U.S. Presidents met with other world leaders, I never worried too much about the outcome. I do with President Donald Trump in the meetings.
President Trump and President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia are meeting this morning in Helsinki.
I hope they have some significant discussions about the issues facing each country.
We may have to watch Fox News to find out what happened. The Hill reported that Trump will sit down with two Fox News hosts, Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson, for his first interviews following his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It was also announced that Fox News’ Chris Wallace will interview Russian President Vladimir Putin.
I think I found something to add to my bucket list – a road trip – on the 414-mile long Dalton Highway in Alaska from Livengood to Dead Horse.
NBC’s Harry Smith took the trip – watch it HERE.
