Finally! The late Derrick Thomas, Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Here’s a photo gallery of the great #58.
I had been pushing for his selection for several years. I commented many times about Derrick Thomas and the Hall of Fame, starting back in 2005.
I was able to see Thomas play in person a person a few times. He took over games. The offense had to plan their game around him. He was that dominant.
Thomas died on February 8, 2000, from injuries suffered in a car accident.
Congratulations to Derrick’s family, friends, and the entire Kansas City Chiefs organization.

Yes, it was about time for him to get in. -Jack
I’m sure you know my opinion of having to see him on the field twice each season. Nevertheless,>>‘Bout Time!
