It was really no surprise to me that U.S. District Court Judge Donald Molloy slapped the Montana GOP for challenging a few voters. He issued a statement about the issue late Wednesday. There’s a hearing scheduled for October 14.

According to the Associated Press, Judge Molloy, “…issued a scathing criticism of Republican efforts to challenge the registrations of nearly 6,000 voters in Montana. The judge slammed the effort as “mischief” that targeted young Democrats and may have violated voter rights laws.”

Judge Molloy was born in Butte, where there were around 714 challenges by the Montana GOP. He was appointed to this position by President Bill Clinton back in 1995.

Like I mentioned in a previous post, there’s really nowhere for people to turn to ensure the elections are fair and the voters who are voting are legally able to vote. Nowhere. You can bet there won’t be any challenges to any possible voter fraud in Montana for the rest of this election cycle. Monica Ray can have her way.

So, let’s give a nice Big Sky hello and welcome to Obama and ACORN – Montana is open for your “business.”
