Considering the flip flops Barack Obama has done on guns and other issues, he might as well call his newly-appointed Montana state director back and send him to another state. Montana’s Governor even sees the writing on the wall.

The latest from Obama’s website:

“As President, I will uphold the constitutional rights of law-abiding gun-owners, hunters, and sportsmen. I know that what works in Chicago may not work in Cheyenne.” -Barack Obama (Statement 06.26.08)

I always thought the Constitution was applied equally to folks in Chicago and Cheyenne or even to folks in Billings and Boston. We’ve found out recently, it even applies to terrorists. But, I’ve never taught constitutional law, like Barack Obama.

Heck, even Senator Jon Tester seems to realize that:

“Our founders didn’t intend for the laws to be applied to some folks and not to others. They didn’t mean for the laws to apply at some times and not others.” (CNN.com 02.08.08)

It appears the only “change” voters are getting with Obama is him changing his positions again and again to try and win over voters. As Reverend Jeremiah Wright said about Barack Obama, “…he goes out as a politician and says what he has to say as a politician.”

That about says it all.
