The Times of London is reporting that Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama has set up an “Internet War Room” to fight the false rumors circulating around the Internet about him.
That would be a full time job for several folks. I think most everyone who has an e-mail account has received the message about Obama being a Muslim, which is not true. Type his last name in Snopes.com and you’ll get about 25 hits about rumors that are mostly false.
The one piece of information I’d like to know from Obama’s “War Room” personnel is the reason why Obama has not released his birth certificate to the media. Several rumors are flying around the internet about it. I’ve seen some rumors say he was not actually born in the United States, to his name is not really Barack, but Barry, and that his middle name is really Muhammad.
Of course, most of these are probably far-fetched, but how about it Obama “War Room” workers, why don’t you get Obama’s campaign to release his birth certificate? Heck, maybe give it to your friends at MSNBC and they can release it and silence these rumors. There were many articles and discussion on the blogs about John McCain’s citizenship when it was questioned. McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone when his father was stationed there. His father and mother were both U.S. citizens.
In Google you can search for Barack Obama or John McCain and “birth certificate” and see what the entire hullabaloo is about.
So, let’s clear up the rumor about Barack Obama’s birth certificate before it takes over the campaign. Then he can concentrate on more important campaign issues, like ways to raise our taxes.

When you lower yourself to calling people idiots and other names, your argument goes into the gutter, Jim. It has no merit whatsoever. As mom always said, “Use your words, Jack, use your words.”>>By the way, the link you tried to provide did not work. -Jack
You are an idiot, and apparently one lacking any sense or right and wrong or respect for the truth as well.>>< = HREF="http://images.dailykos.com/images/user/3/BO_Birth_Certificate.jpg" REL="nofollow">Obama’s birth certificate<>
Hey Jim, your reading comprehension must be “pathetic.” This is what I wrote in the post: >“I’ve seen some rumors say he was not actually born in the United States, to his name is not really Barack, but Barry, and that his middle name is really Muhammad. Of course, most of these are probably far-fetched, but how about it Obama “War Room” workers, why don’t you get Obama’s campaign to release his birth certificate?”>-Jack
So you are too cowardly to actually repeat the rumor that you are attempting to spread? >>>Pathetic.
Jim -The War Room post is pretty self explanatory in that the rumors about Obama have spread so much that he’s hired folks to fight them. The latest is about his citizenship, and I believe his war room folks should jump on this before it becomes even more of a major issue. Like I said, do a search for “Barack Obama,” “John McCain” and “birth certificate” and you’ll see what I am referring to. There are thousands of hits. -Jack
What are you talking about?>>Are you attempting to spread a scurrilous rumor? Just what is this rumor?>>Whatever it is that you mean, why don’t you say it?
