The Democratic-controlled House and Senate voted to override the President’s veto of the Farm Bill on Thursday.

But they left town and did not correct the section of the Farm Bill that addresses the global hunger crisis. The old Farm Bill expires today, so the hunger crisis will have to wait until the Senate returns from vacation on June 2 and the House returns from vacation on June 3.

Are these the Democrats we’ve come to know who claim to care deeply about starving people around the world?
