Rev. Jeremiah Wright is in the news again. What will Barack Obama do now? He can’t shut up his pastor and spiritual advisor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Wright is making the rounds on television and he’s giving speeches. Obama even went on Fox News Sunday to try and stop the disturbance.
Today the Rev. Jeremiah Wright circus was in Washington at the National Press Club. Last week, he was on PBS with Bill Moyers.
Every time Wright talks, Obama loses votes. The Obama campaign is probably screaming, “STOP” every time Rev. Wright appears on TV. They can feel the air leaving the Obama balloon.
Now, Wright is telling folks that the media coverage about his sermons is really an attack on black churches. He did not retract any of his previous statements.
Wright’s had a couple of golden opportunities to explain his comments and his beliefs. He decided to attack, and he was combative. Can anyone really believe that Barack Obama sat in those pews for 20 years and did not know what his pastor was saying?
Meanwhile, the Clinton and McCain campaigns are probably trying to schedule more appearances for Rev. Wright.

Now steve t. lets be nice. I did watch Rev. Wright make a further mess of this issue. I watched the lefty and the righty shows talk about it. I heard Obama say on Sunday that the Wright issue was a “legitimate issue” in the campaign. I believe he is correct, because who a person associated with in the past can have a lot to do with how he feels about issues. I feel there’s just too much America does not know about this man to elect him President. He should come back in four or eight years and try again. I don’t understand who you mean by “you guys’ as I am the only author on this blog. Maybe you mean the Clinton supporters and the McCain supporters? Thanks for stopping by. -Jack

I know you’ve got your preconceived ideas of what you thought you would hear in the interview, and my guess is you didn’t bother to watch it in order to confirm or deny those ideas. Yes steve t. I did watch the Moyers inteview and read the transcript. I watched the National Press Club speech and questions. I know you are upset because your man is circling the drain. He may win the democrat nomination, but more and more issues with his past will probably come out before the general election that will hurt him. Obama had so much potential…
Umm… did you watch either the interview or his press conference?
