Tuesday’s Stuff

At Death’s Door

As Forrest Gump would say, “I have a cough due to cold,” so I have been lying around doing nothing for the last few days. To all my female readers out there: It’s true. Men are wimps when it comes to colds and flu. When we get a cold or the flu, we are as close to death as a person can possibly be. The world stops. It’s just that way.

Pimped Out

Some folks may have thought my absence from blogging was because I had been “pimped out” for a campaign, but no. Maybe it was the prescription cough medicine I took, but I thought I heard that MSNBC had a copyright on the phrase “pimped out” and that David Shuster would soon be writing and reporting for Lee Newspapers or the Montana AP. Just kidding.

Challenged

Denny has a challenger. Denny has a challenger. The Montana Democrats have finally found a challenger to take on Congressman Denny Rehberg. Supposedly Jim Hunt will announce today that he is “the man” to take on Rehberg. I wonder how it feels to be the third or fourth choice of your party? I imagine Hunt will say that he will do away with earmarks, and soon we’ll hear from Nancy Pelosi telling Montanans that Hunt will get a seat on the House Appropriations committee. Fool the voters once…

  1. Hey Anon: Thanks for visiting. You might try pointing out where you disagree with my post, and then we can discuss it instead of you just calling it ignorant. By the way, I thought folks from Missoula liked to debate?-Jack

  2. You should be careful about posting commentary on topics that you don’t understand, and on people about whom you know nothing. You truly must be Republican — ignorant to the core. Thanks for another good example of a bad example.

  3. Try sixth choice behind Kennedy, Jent, Doherty, Van Dyke and Wanzenreid. The Dems really had to <>hunt<> to find a candidate. hahaha.Seriously though, expect a lot of gross distortion of records. Hunt was big on accusing Burns of abandoning vets last year when in matter of fact you would be hard-pressed to find a bigger advocate for vets than Burns was. Denny’s got to be feeling pretty good about this guy.
