It is a cold and rainy weekend

Here are a few key links to take a look at during a cold and rainy weekend in Big Sky Country, but don’t forget to feast on football.

Select a candidate 2008. You answer 11 questions and tell how important the subject is to you and, like magic, there’s your Presidential candidate.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas writes a book about his life called, “My Grandfather’s Son.” Then, he has a 60 Minutes interview on Sunday night. Does he know that a football game is on at the same time as 60 Minutes? Geez.

Hillary wants to give every newborn in the USA a $5000 bond to start life with. Honey…

Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly are in the crosshairs of the lefties for comments they made. It was a good week to watch “The O’Reilly Factor” and “Countdown with Keith Olbermann.”

The SCHIP fight continues. Bush says he will veto it. In the Weekly Radio Address, I was expecting the Democrats to put up SCHIP champion, U.S. Senator Max Baucus, to give their view. Nope, they picked a 12 year-old boy from Baltimore to give it.

By the way, none of the appropriations bills have been signed into law yet, so we have a Continuing Resolution until November 16. The President could really get their attention if he would just veto the Continuing Resolution, but he won’t.

Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, says she is praying for President Bush. That’s good Speaker Pelosi. I also pray for the President along with you and the other leaders of our nation.

  1. I took the test. Not surprisingly, Ron Paul came in #1 for me, but with Fred Thompson being far and away the best of the “top-tier” Republicans for me.Romney and Giuliani were tied for last amongst all of the Republicans. While all of the Dems were in single digits for me, what really was a bit surprising was that Dennis Kucinich was my top Democrat and Bill Richardson was actually my lowest. Quite the opposite of what I would have thought.
