College
The “major” Montana college teams won on Saturday, so almost everyone should be excited.

USC continues to steamroll any team that gets in the way. LSU is looking good. Michigan has won two in a row and Notre Dame, well, they are 0-4.

I’ve been a fan of the Big 12 Conference since it was the Big 8 Conference. There are four teams that are 4-0 so far this year (Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas). On October 6, Nebraska (3-1) will play at Missouri (4-0) and this should be a good game.

As with most major college programs, the “soft schedules” are now over and the conference games are starting.

The Pros

I went 12-3 this week going into the Monday night game. The Kansas City Chiefs won their first game. My appreciation goes to the Fox affiliates in Montana for airing the Vikings at the Chiefs game. You made my Sunday.

Special Recognition: A special salute to Mr. K.C. Wolf for his tackle and help in subduing a fan who decided to take to the field on Sunday. You are the…Wolf! Watch his big play HERE.

Surprises: Denver losing to Jacksonville. The Eagles beating the crap out of the Lions. The Packers.

The Real Deal: Colts, Patriots, Dallas, Pittsburgh

The Jury is still out: Packers

Ugly: The Eagles “throwback” uniforms. But, they won big time, so why not wear them every week?

AFC West: Denver is 2-1 and everyone else is 1-2. Looks like it will be a dogfight. It’s important to win all your home games and then steal a couple on the road to have a decent chance to make the playoffs.

Next week: Week #4 starts the bye weeks. They will be over November 18. Denver plays at Indy. The Eagles are at the Giants Sunday night. The Chiefs play at the Chargers. Monday night’s game is the Patriots at the Bengals.

  1. Is there any doubt that USC could up up 100 points on Notre Dame is Pete Carroll wasn’t a class act?
