U.S. District Judge John D. Bates dismissed Valerie Plame’s case against Vice President Cheney, Karl Rove, Scooter Libby, Richard Armitage and others today on jurisdictional grounds.

That will probably save the President from having to pardon them…

Ironically, Judge Bates was nominated to the Federal bench by George W. Bush in September 2001 and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in December 2001.

Now, if that doesn’t make the story juicier!

Maybe Valerie will need to add another chapter to her forthcoming book, which should make it even more of an interesting read.
