The second quarter fundraising ended last night. Now the Presidential candidates will count the money and file their reports by July 15.

The ones who did well this quarter will probably make an announcement before July 15.

This week was a busy one for Jack the Blogger’s e-mail. I received 16 e-mails this week from the candidates asking for money. Sorry, I could not give a dime (or was it a damn) but it was fun being included.

So, who sent me the most e-mails this week? Drumroll please…
The McCain campaign sent five e-mails. Clinton, Obama, and Richardson sent three each. Giuliani sent two. I don’t see where I received any from Romney, Biden, Edwards, etc. Maybe the internet is not their cup of tea?

It is being reported that Obama took in about $30 million.

We’ll see in the coming days what the “official” numbers are.
