Y’all Suck…
The headlines could have said, “Y’all suck” or something like that. A new Gallup poll reports that confidence in Congress is at 14% – an all time low. The Democrats are running Congress now. It’s been a bumpy ride so far. Heck, they may be in the ditch…
Tactics…
There’s been a lot of talk about our Lt. Gov., John Bohlinger, not being able to get a reservation at the GOP Banquet Friday night.
I wrote yesterday that I thought Lt. Gov., Bohlinger should be able to attend the dinner because I’d never heard him resign from the Montana Republican Party. I also threw an idea out that maybe some “Rebel Republican” (RR) might just invite him to attend on their ticket. It would be a great tactic. It would also make headlines across the state, taking away the positive press a party convention tries to get.
Another tactic would be for him to attend with a TV camera in tow and maybe a newspaper reporter or two. We might see a YouTube moment when they ask him to leave.
I checked the Billings Gazette website a few minutes ago and 91 people have commented about this issue, so if it was a tactic of “gotcha” from the Democrats then they are winning.
I enjoy politics and the tactics used.
Another tactic that the political folks use is e-mail. Someone from National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) found the e-mail address to this Blog and sent me some “information” on Max Baucus. Nope, it was not about the Going to the Sun Road. I did not post it. Maybe they (along with some other folks) think I am more “Right leaning” than I actually am. I, of course, believe that I am an “Independent.”
Fair and Balanced…
This is probably no surprise to many folks from the right. MSNBC is reporting that “144 journalists made campaign contributions from 2004 through the first quarter of 2007, according to Federal Election Commission records studied by MSNBC.com.”
A majority of the donations went to democrats.
