Webb has finally come clean about the loaded gun that his aide was caught with heading through U.S. Senate security way back in March.

Well, we believe everyone already knew it was your gun, Jimmy. Duh. We were just waiting for you to come clean…and you finally did.

As for complying with the District of Columbia handgun ban, he would not come clean on that topic according to the STORY. Maybe the reporter should have asked, “Are you packin, senator?”

The Western Word (TWW) commented on this story way back in March. I believe Webb’s staffer, Phillip Thompson, spent his 45th birthday in the slammer and court.

What a boss!!

I have not found out if Phillip Thompson still works for Webb. But if you’re a staffer for Webb, it appears you can’t count on his help when you’re in trouble.
