It was ugly, just ugly. Or, was it a defensive struggle? The Cavs managed to hold Ginobili to just three points. Duncan and Parker played mediocre. But as championship teams do, the Spurs found a way to win.
Turn out the lights, the party’s over.
The Cav fans and some of the sports broadcasters and writers have been saying the LeBron James was fouled at the end by Bruce Bowen. I don’t think it affected his shot. I don’t think he was in the act of shooting when he was fouled.
When you are trying to find a reason for losing, you’ll grasp at anything.
Will the Cavs win a game? I still think they will win one. Now, it has to be on Thursday. The Spurs know they need to keep kicking this team when they are down, or they may get up and fight. This Cavs team is young and inexperienced with a very young leader that may just cash it in on Thursday. We’ll see how professional they are when Thursday night rolls around.
Although the ratings are down with these NBA finals, they do provide some entertainment and it sure beats watching a baseball game….
