Poor Paris was sent back to jail today, supposedly for 45 days. It has been a media spectacle like the O.J. Simpson deal. Hundreds of media people were on scene at her home, the court, the jail. It was over the top. The justice system, at least out in California, looks like a circus.

It seems that maybe the Judge in this case went too far because of who Paris Hilton is, not for the crime. Many people have commented that someone driving on a suspended license would not have to do time. But, she did get a DUI that was the root of the problem, but Paris was caught twice more breaking the law. Many first time DUIs get suspended sentences.

I doubt Paris will be in jail for 45 days, but she will be there for a while – so there goes the exclusive parties at her house for Flag Day and maybe the Fourth of July…
