Old News and Buckle Up

Old news = New news?

In 2004, the VA announced that they were going to open several new clinics nationwide sometime in the future. The VA issued a press release dated May 7, 2004, saying they were opening two new clinics and selected Lewistown and Cut Bank. Also, here is the LINK from the May 8, 2004, Great Falls Tribune.

It’s May 2007 and Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., and Rep. Denny Rehberg, R-Mont., announced the VA is planning on (guess what?) opening VA clinics in Lewistown and Cut Bank.

From the left, Tester said in a May 25, 2007, press release that it was because of his “concerns raised this week.”

And from the right, Rehberg said in his May 25, 2007, press release that the VA “has selected Cut Bank and Lewistown as sites for two new Community-Based Outpatient Clinics.”

The veterans of Montana appreciate the update, gentlemen. Thanks…
