It looks like the Montana Legislature is done with their Special Session. It will probably go down in Montana history as one of the worst legislative sessions ever.

If there are “political” winners in this mess, then it would have to be the Democrats. If there are “political” losers, then it would have to be the Republicans.

But overall, the losers are Montanans. We’ve sat and watched the circus go on for 90 days, and they could not accomplish their one task – passing a budget.

Now we’ve seen five more days and spending around $200,000 of our money because the legislators could not pass a budget.

Yes, the circus is now over in Helena. It was, to say the least, a YouTube moment.
Let the spinning begin.
