Republican Debate Tonight; D.C. Madam Friday Night

This time there’s 10…
Tonight is the first Republican Presidential debate in California at the Reagan Library. The debate will be moderated by Chris Matthews of MSNBC and the station is also carrying the debate live. It will be broadcast here in Montana at 6:00pm.
The Western Word (TWW) wonders if Keith Olbermann will attend the Republican debate.
Maybe someday we’ll see a debate between Olbermann and Bill O’Reilly – for charity.
Last week the Democrats held their debate with eight candidates, which was also carried by MSNBC. Obama and Hillary did well. Most thought Obama won, but TWW felt Hillary did.
During the 90 minute Democratic debate, Barack Obama led the eight contenders, speaking for 12 minutes. Since there are 10 Republicans tonight, it will be tough for any of them to beat that.
MSNBC is carving out a stake as the political channel to watch by having these debates.

Does she have your number…
Don’t forget that Friday night on 20/20 ABC will air the segment about the D.C. Madam and her phone list weighing 46 pounds. It airs at 9:00pm here in Montana.
This may be overblown. ABC seems to be playing their cards close to their vests. But it is sweeps month in the rating wars, so anything can happen…for ratings.
