This is the title of the new CD by rockers REO Speedwagon. It was released on April 3, 2007, through Wal-Mart.
Unfortunately, Wal-Mart did not get the order to me on or shortly after April 3 as promised. It arrived on April 6. I ordered it in mid-March for the April 3 release date. But, it did arrive and within five minutes it was in the CD/DVD player rocking the house!
The collection contains the new CD, “Find Your Own Way Home” with 10 NEW REO Speedwagon songs. There was also a DVD from XM Satellite Radio with seven acoustic songs from REO. Very nicely done! Then the icing on the cake was a live version on REO’s number one album, “Hi Infidelity” (10 songs) and three live videos on the enhanced CD. It is called, “Hi Infidelity Then Again…Live.” And, to beat it all the price was very reasonable ($14.88) for all of it.
After listening to the new CD, there are already a few of the songs that remind me of the REO of the 1980s and 90s. The title track, “Find Your Own Way Home” is a classic ballad that I enjoyed and the last track, “Let my love find you” is a lot like the classic, “Keep on Loving You” and Dangerous Combination is a song about mixing drinking and romance – which has always been a dangerous combination! The song, “Born to Love You” written and sang by bass player, Bruce Hall, is a good one, too. “I Needed to Fall” is a song that jumped out and spoke to me in my current situation- “So close to giving up…never been before so broken…can I hold on long enough…maybe I needed to fall.”
I’ve seen REO Speedwagon live in concert 15-20 times starting when I was 16-17 years-old growing up around Kansas City and it has continued here in Montana (Billings, Great Falls, Three Forks). I’m looking forward to seeing them once again when they come to the Rocky Mountains.
For all my fellow REO Speedwagon fans, this is a must get package from Wal-Mart. You can order it HERE. Enjoy!

I love the new cd as well. Hopefully they can get some airplay with this one!
It’s comforting to find a blog that covers both REO Speedwagon and Montana politics. Best wishes to you.
