The 2008 election season is upon us and not just on the Presidential level. In a quick check of the internet, I see there are few candidates with campaign websites up and running for 2008.

By the way, the 2006 elections were just four months ago.

First, there are 23 or so Presidential candidates already out there. You can see them by clicking HERE.

But, back here in Montana, U.S. Senator Max Baucus (D-Mont) has his campaign website up and running at: http://maxbaucus2008.com. “Senator Baucus must rely on the financial help and support of individuals for his reelection campaign.”
“Max, Montana’s Senator.”

So he’s running, which is not a surprise.

Congressman Denny Rehberg (R-Mont.) has kept his last campaign’s website up and running at: http://www.dennyrehberg.com.
“Congressman Denny Rehberg, Working Hard. Making a Difference.”

Plus, you have Gov. Schweitzer’s campaign site at: http://www.brianschweitzer.com/ which has been updated recently.
“A Democrat and a Republican, working together for Montana.”

Who will be next? There may already be more out there. You can be sure that The Western Word will keep looking and reporting.
