Where’s the beef…from?

It was widley reported across Montana that U.S. Senators Jon Tester and Max Baucus were having lunch in the U.S. Senate the other day and discovered the Senate offered “Kobe beef” from Japan on the menu.

So, they wrote a letter to the general manager of the senate dining room asking him to use Montana and other domestic beef.

I think this is really nice of our two senators to do this.

But, maybe some reporter will ask how long foreign beef has been on the menu. Max Baucus has been in the U.S. Senate for almost 30 years. You’d think he would have noticed it by now.
