Kansas City Chiefs 27 Oakland Raiders 23

Gutsy, Bold, Courageous – That’s what I have to say after the Chiefs went for the win instead of the tie in the game on Sunday. I was against the call, because Priest Holmes was not in the game, but after hearing the post-game press conference, I had to agree that KC had not stopped the Raiders on the last two drives and if they had lost the coin toss, the Raiders would have probably scored.
LJ had 107 yards. The 107th yard was the most important.
Trent Green, the most underrated QB in the NFL, was 22/35 for 235 yards playing with a heavy heart because of the death of his father. God bless you, Trent.
Next up the Chiefs play at Buffalo (3-5). I still like our chances as the last four of six games of the season are at Arrowhead.

I was glad to see the Eagles finally get a handle on T. Owens. He’s done for the season and probably won’t be back with the Eagles. A good team for him would be the Raiders.

Later!
