Chiefs 23 Raiders 17

It was a typical “black and blue” ugly game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders on Sunday night, with the Chiefs winning it, 23-17. The Chiefs are 2-0 and the Raiders are 0-2. Sweet!
Next up are the Broncos on Monday night in Denver.
One thing the Raiders, Broncos and Chargers must remember is they have to come to Arrowhead in November and December – when the games really count.
It was too bad that the normal Sunday night ESPN crew was not doing the show. Mike Tirico and Sterling Sharpe called the game with Suzie Kolber on the sidelines.
It was a Randy Moss love affair from the ESPN crew. They could not shut up when talking about how wonderful Randy Moss is as player – the savior for the Raiders.
But, Moss failed the Raiders. In the fourth quarter and it was third and seven. Moss went out and made his cut at six yards, caught the ball and went out of bounds – he did not even try for that extra yard.
The Raiders failed to use Moss on the last series – they never threw a pass his way.
Moss hardly runs a route when they are not passing the ball. Sure, he got his 127 yards and one TD – but they lost the game. He acts like an elementary school playground player running down the field waving his hand as if saying, “throw me the ball!”
Raider Nation won’t put up with a quiter or a losing team.
I’d take Tony Gonzalez any day over Randy Moss.
Again, the Chiefs defense surprised me and they will get better- they held the raiders to 71 yards on the ground and 263 in the air – not bad. The offense made the plays when needed and were without Willie Roaf.
Yep, so far so good. The Broncos are next and it is always tough playing in Denver.
