Lynch – February Newsletter

Note:  The Jim Lynch for Montana Governor Campaign forwarded their February newsletter to me via my Western Word e-mail – it’s worth the read.

My favorite part (and something I think is very good advice):

As Montanans we will be preached to by the slickest of politicians.  Be very protective of your vote.

It’s very important you know the backgrounds of those you wish to vote for.  We cannot afford to nominate a candidate in the primary just to see his past come back to end our chances of putting a Republican in the Governor’s seat. Continue reading →

Caught My Eye…

It is FRIDAY!  Once again we’ve made it to another glorious weekend.  Congratulations!  With the temperatures hitting about 33 degrees last night here at my place in Montana, it’s time to get the yards and the gardens ready for that long winter’s nap.  Yuck.

Caught My Eye…

Happy Friday – we made it again!  Summer vacations are winding down and school starts soon – what a freaking bummer – but we do have about three weekends left before “the end.”

For the new folks, Caught My Eye is the (almost) award-winning weekly column where I take a look at some of the stories I did not have time to write about during the week.  I offer some brief comments about the stories and sometimes add just a touch of sarcasm!
